The CAN Repeater:

• Provides electrical isolation of two branches of a CAN line (ISO 11898-1)
• Allows extension of a line segment without lowering the bit-rate
• Interconnects two branches of different speeds
• Uses a microprocessor for the organization of data
• Is suitable for customer-specific CAN-based protocols
• Enables different bit-rate setting (into different branches)
• Is mountable on DIN-rail
• Power Supply 24 V_DC 200 mA; 12/18 V_AC 50 Hz / 60 Hz; 200 mA
• Temperature range −30 °C to 70 °C
• EMS according to EN 61000-6-2

Three different types of CAN repeaters are available:

• HD67117
• HD67181
• HD67180

These codes differentiate between the suitability for the different higher-layer protocols and CAN-IDs.

HD67180 - specific for DeviceNet ("thin" type)
