The Sinus Penta inverters cover a range of power from 1,3 kW to 2010 kW, with input and motor three-phase voltage from 200 VAC and VDC to 690 VAC and VDC bus series feeding from 280 VDC to 970 VDC. The range is available in IP00, IP20, IP24 and IP54 protection degrees, besides every single model is applicable to a wide range of powers, according to the torque and current overload required.
The inverters by Elettronica Santerno have got the CE mark and satisfy the most rigid European EMC directives (electromagnetic compatibility), cUL for North American market, GOST for Russian market and C-TICK for Oceania. The standard series is enriched by box and cabinet solutions up to 2010 kW and 690 VAC, regenerative and with DC bus, along with a wide range of options.
Thanks to the use of a screened metallic enclosure and a RFI filter integrated to other widely tested solutions, high tolerances to the electromagnetic noises and a low emission level have been finally obtained.
There are five controls and functions available:
- IFD vector modulation type with V/F adjustable pattern
- Vector sensorless direct torque control VTC (open and closed loop)
- FOC (field oriented control) for high torque precision and wide speed range
- SYN (synchronous) vector function for brushless asynchronous motors with permanent magnet
- RGN (regenerative) sinusoidal front end regenerative cosF = 1 and supplier for a series of drives
The inverter is provided with a control panel with 64 characters and twelve function keys LCD display for a simple use in all applications.
