EMS offers an entire product familiy of CAN interfaces for PCs. Besides CAN interfaces for mobile applications a number of plug-in boards with different interfaces and capabilities are available.
Outstanding characteristic of all members of the CPC family is high reliability at a favourable price/performance relationship and comprehensive software support.
Measurement and automation technology, CANopen system configuration and CAN analysis are covered by standard software packages. Development of custom specific applications is supported by developement kits for Windows and Linux. Other operating systems are supported by system partners.
CPC-PCI
CPC-PCI is a passive CAN interface board for PCI slots. Due to the robust structure and the favourable price it is especially suitable for industrial series applications.
CPC-PCIe (NEW)
CPC-PCIe is a passive CAN interface board for PCI express x1 slots. Due to the robust structure and the favourable price it is especially suitable for industrial series applications. It is driver compatible with CPC-PCI.
CPC-USB/ARM7
CPC-USB is a CAN interface for USB ports in a compact and robust metal housing. Due to easy handling and favourable price CPC-USB is suitable for configuration and analysis of CAN systems.
CPC-Card
CPC-Card is a CAN interface with two CAN channels for PC-Card slots. CPC-Card allows the access to the SJA1000 CAN controllers with the functionality and efficiency well known from PC plug-in boards.
CPC-104M (NEW)
CPC-104M is a CAN interface for PC-104 systems and was developed for series application in industrial automation and mobile applications. Up to four CAN controllers SJA1000 with or without galvanic decoupling are available.
CPC-104
CPC-104 is a CAN interface for PC-104 systems and was developed for series application in industrial automation and mobile applications. It is available with SJA1000 or AN82527 CAN controller.
CPC-104I
CPC-104I is an active CAN interface for PC-104 systems. The separation of the PC from CAN realtime requirements qualifies CPC-104I especially for the realization of control applications in operating systems with limited realtime capabilities (e.g. MS-Windows or Linux)
EtherCAN CI
EtherCAN CI is an interface to connect CAN networks and Ethernet systems. The device includes a local 32-bit microcontroller with ARM7 core and an Embedded Linux operating system. It can be used as a standard CAN interface in a LAN environment. Or two EtherCAN devices, working back to back, can bridge two CAN networks over an Ethernet connection.
Legacy products CPC-XT, CPC-XTI, CPC-PP and CPC-USB/M16C are still available.
