CANopen to Modbus/TCP gateway

Availability
In stock

This gateways allows to interface a CANopen network with a Modbus/TCP network.

Benefits:

  • Very easy to configure
  • Low cost
  • Rail-mountable
  • Wide supply input range
  • Galvanic isolation
  • Industrial temperature range: 30 °C to 70 °C (−22 °F to 158 °F)

The CANopen-to-Modbus/TCP server gateway allows the following:

  • Two-directional information between CANopen and Modbus/TCP networks
  • Electrical isolation between two networks
  • To write SDO from Modbus Word
  • To read SDO from Modbus Word
  • To read EMCY from Modbus Word
  • To read PDO from Modbus Word
  • Communication Ethernet 10/100 Mbit/s (TCP version)
  • Temperature range −30 °C to 70 °C

Product information

To configure the CANopen gateway, use the available software that runs with Windows, called SW67005. It is downloadable on the site www.adfweb.de.

The gateway can be configured up to a maximum 127 SDO with the maximum number of the following:

  • EMCY
  • EMCY Word
  • PDO
  • Store PDO

Depend on the available memory of the gateway and the number defined SDO.

Configuration:

The "CANopen to Modbus" gateway allows a CANopen network to communicate with a Modbus network. You need Compositor SW67005 software on your PC in order to perform the following:

  • Define that the SDOs of the CANopen network are accessible from Modbus
  • Define how to update CANopen SDOs from Modbus
  • Define that the CANopen EMCYsignals are accessible from Modbus
  • Define how and which EMCYs generated in CANopen can be filtered
  • Define which and how the PDOs of CANopen are accessible from Modbus
  • Update the new configurations of the device
  • Save, duplicate, modify, export the configurations
