Availability
In stock

Epec 2040 display module is a graphic display for embedded mobile control systems. The small size makes the installing easy, and high environmental tolerance (IP65) enables usage even in the most demanding conditions.

The module has 5,7 inch TFT QVGA display which is typically used to present meters, symbols, alarm information, etc. for the machine operator. In addition, the display module can store usage and alarm data for the machine manufacturers after sales support organization, for diagnostics and service use. The module has up to 64 MiB memory available.

Mobile machines seldom exist today without external connections to machine operators, leasing operators, or service organizations databases. The display module provides all the necessary connection options for efficient connections. Ethernet, USB and serial connections allow modems and other data transferring devices to be connected. Two CAN network connections provide interface for the control systems internal communication, as well as provide standardized connection to other manufacturers CAN devices. In addition, USB connections enable the usage of a keyboard, mouse, printers, or memory stick to transfer production data, alarm logs, or even update applications for the whole control system. Communication connections are lead through heavy duty ampseal connections to ensure endurance even in the most demanding environmental conditions.

The display module has five soft keys on the front of the panel. In addition, there are also digital inputs and outputs to connect external buttons. The usage of the I/Os and other functions are made by the application program. The module can be flexibly and effectively programmed using C or CoDeSys Visualisation, thus utilizing its full potential with the help of ready made libraries.

Epec 2040 display module can be mounted inside the cabin, embedded in the dashboard or with a separate mounting pedestal on the armrest of the chair. The display can also be mounted to the exterior in the open air, e.g. on the side of the machine.
