The PowerCAN-PCI is a high-performance CAN interface and controller card and provides up to three opto-isolated CAN channels. Each channel has a maximum data transfer speed of 1 Mbit/s at 100% network load. The PowerCAN-PCI is used as a controller card in complex machines. With the available multithreaded API and the CANopen Master Protocol Stack combined with the power of the PowerCAN-PCI, it is possible to get simultaneous access with multiple threads from your application to the CAN network. Due to the high-performance software interface it is guaranteed that no CAN-frame is lost even with 100% bus load at 1 Mbit/s on all three CAN channels - this is no problem for the PowerCAN-PCI. To fit the PowerCAN in you application design, it is available for the PCI, PC104+ and CPCI bus using the same device driver and API interface.
