Smart CAN Repeater supervises and protects six different branches of a CAN bus network optically isolating each branch and avoiding faults thanks to disconnection of any failed branch. Signalling of failed branch errors is done through leds. Putting back into service of a failed line is done automatically. The aluminium case guarantees IP67 degree of protection.

Smart CAN Repeater allows the maximum flexibility in the choice of the topology of the network and the maximum security due to his ability of disconnecting shorted or opened lines.

SCR is completely independent of the specific upper level protocol; CANopen, DeviceNet, J1939 and any other CAN-based protocol can be used. No configuration is required.
