PCG-01 Profibus-CAN gateway

The PCG-01 Profibus/CAN gateway, allows to connect CANopen networks to Profibus networks and vica verse.

The profibus side implements a Profibus DP slave. The PCG-01 is equipped with two CAN interfaces.

One interface implements a CANopen slave, the other interface can be used with any propritary can-protocol. So the Module can also be used as a CAN to CAN gateway as well.

Two digital inputs (24 V, optically isolated) and two digital outputs (24 V, optical isolated ) can be used to handle additional I/O requirements.

Profibus specifications:

  • Sub-D-9 connector for copper interface
  • Profi-Bus DP slave

CAN interface specifications:

  • Two Sub-D-9 (male)
  • CAN interface for 11/29-bit ID
  • Optically isolated
  • 100 kbit/s, 125 kbit/s, 250 kbit/s, 500 kbit/s, 1 Mbit/s
