Ident-Control IDC3.0 gateway

Availability
In stock

Low Frequency identification system, reads RFID-transponders and supports:

  • CANopen, CleANopen (CiA 422)
  • 134,2 kHz- HDX-transponders
  • Numerous 125 kHz and 134,2 kHz FDX-transponders

The IDC30 identifies transponders of type TIRIS(C) (HDX) in mobile and stationary applications. A configuration which allows the reading of FDX transponders is also available. The reader is designed to cope with sophisticated needs in terms of identification range as well as processing speed.

Its HDX identification part is designed to suite long range applications. In combination with matching antennas and transponders, possible identification range exceeds one meter.

The FDX identification module is designed for short range applications. The maximum reading distance for FDX transponders is 15 cm.

The IDC30 is a multi-channel device. Up to four antennas (two HDX + two HDX/FDX) may be attached to the IDC30.

The communication interface of the IDC30 is either CAN or a serial line (EIA-232/422/485 (RS-232/422/485)). The CAN interface supports insertion of the unit between the components of an existing installation (CAN- in and CAN out).

In addition to identification of transponders, the IDC30 provides a number of configurable, opto-isolated inputs and plus-switching outputs. No extra equipment is required for applications.

Setup and test of an application are supported by several diagnostic features. Installation or update of the firmware is possible via the CANopen interface.

Tough construction of the electronic components and the housing guarantees safe operation, even in rugged environments.

The IDC30 will be delivered in a standard housing with sealed cable entries.
