The high performance Compact-Panel-PCs out of the Combi-Line, are available from 300 MHz to 1 GHz and can be equipped with Windows CE or XP (embedded). With USB, Ethernet and CANopen on-Board, as well as the optional Profibus DP or MPI connection, they are highly communication oriented. When combined with the CoDeSys IEC 61131-compatible Soft-PLC solution, HMI Control is visible in its purest form. On system – limitless freedom: this is the philosophy of openAutomation made by Grossenbacher.

The device concept focuses on expandability and flexibility. An exchangeable Compact-Flash™ is used as mass storage device. Without moving parts the devices are “at home” in rugged environment!

Thanks to the use of the ETX-standard the performance is scaleable. New technologies or more powerful processors within the ETX-standard can be used directly. So the devices are prepared for future requirements and long term availability is ensured.

For fast, intuitive and fatigue free operation two approved touch-screen technologies are available: the service free infrared touch-screen with scratch free safety glass or the seamless resistive touch-screen.
