SyCon configuration tool

The system configurator SyCon is used with the CANopen masters of the company Hilscher GmbH. It simplifies the realization of the configuration and in online mode it supports the detection of network errors and their locations by reading out the diagnostic buffers and displaying them on the screen. This tool can configure all the major fieldbus systems with a common look and feel.

Based on the EDS files it allows a graphical input of the individual nodes, configuration of the SDOs and the address mapping of the PDOs. The configuration can be downloaded on the master via the dual-port memory or the serial RS-232 diagnostic port.

Sycon is written in C++ executes under Windows 95. Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Windows XP and uses the access database for storing its configuration data.
