16/32-bit FLASH/OTP programming via CAN
In stock
UDE MemTool is designed for On-Chip and On-Board FLASH/OTP programming with microcontroller systems based on SAB C166, ST10, XC166, XC2000, TriCore, PowerPC MPC and PPC, ARM, Cortex and XScale derivatives and can connect directly to the on-chip CAN modules of 16/32 Bit MCU derivatives. The new feature 'CAN bootstrap loader' is supported with the ST10, XC166, XC2000 and TriCore.
There are two versions of UDE MemTool:
- UDE MemTool Add-In
is a part of the universal debug engine (UDE) and allows the FLASH/OTP programming during the development cycle inside of UDE. MemTool observes the download path and runs the programming process when requested. - UDE MemTool standalone
comes with a separate front-end interface as standalone tool outside of UDE. All programming functions are available also via standard COM automation interfaces. The features of MemTool can be integrated into automatic production and test systems or can be executed via scripts and batches by using the COM interfaces.
The special CAN network Target Monitor features are available for comfortable and fast communication:
- User specific CAN network monitors can be configured by the portable monitor package
- Standard and extended identifiers are supported
- Flash programming via CAN network (internal FLASH and external FLASH ROMs AMD 29Fx) ROM-less CAN debug monitors are possible (CAN bootstrap loader)
- CAN bootstrap loader makes the flashing of target systems faster
All functions of MemTool are available also via JTAG, ASC or other target interfaces. The UDE MemTool demo version is available for various 16/32-bit starterkits.
