Flexible CAN module range
The CAN module range consists of analog and digital I/Os. The modules have a single 24 VDC power supply. I/O and CAN are galvanic isolated. Screw plugs per channel allow easy installation and status LEDs provide extensive diagnostic info. A dual processor configuration ensures fast CAN message and I/O handling. Software functions are downloadable and run locally. CANopen software drivers are available for LabVIEW.
Analog input:The CN-CAI1-5275 module has twelve differential channels, 16-bit resolution, independent gains and ranges and provides digital filtering. Inputs interface to resistor, voltage or current sensors. On board cold junction facilitates thermocouple measurement.
Digital input:The CN-CI12-5272 module has twelve channels that interface to NPN or PNP sensors. Inputs are debounced, have overvoltage protection and can serve also as counter or encoder input.
Digital output:The CN-CO12-5274 module has twelve shortcircuit proof, 24 V, 500 mA max., sourcing outputs. Active high or low pulse function with programmable width is included.
Digital I/O:The CN-IO14-5288 module has twelve digital input and output channels. Inputs may be connected to NPN or PNP sensors. Outputs are programmable as high side or low side switch.
Relais output:The CN-RO12-5286 module has twelve relais outpus with N.C. and N.O. terminals. Software selectable high or low pulse function is included.
General purpose I/O:The CN-CPID-5269 module has analog and digital I/O. The analog I/O (4 × IN/4 × OUT) has 16-bit resolution in a ±10 V range. The digital I/O (4 × IN/4 × OUT) is identical to the CI12/CO12 module with additional frequency measurement. Four independent PID control functions are included.
