μCAN-Sensor family

The μCAN-Sensor family is a specially designed for sensor manufacturers, that want to add a CANopen interface to an existing sensor. The small PCB dimensions of 18 mm × 30 mm allow a small sensor housing. Both, bitrate and node ID, are available via the LSS service.

All μCAN-Sensor modules have a wide operating temperature range (−40 °C to 85 °C) and a wide range power supply (8 VDC to 60 VDC).

The 16-bit A/D converter allows connection of various sensor types, including:

  • 0 mA to 20 mA
  • ±10 V
  • Pt100, Pt1000
  • Thermocouples
  • Strain gauge
  • Pressure sensor
