The Vansco Controller Module (VCM) 3520 is an input/output controller that receives digital, analog, and frequency inputs and drives solid state switch outputs. VCM 3520 output currents can range up to 2.5 A depending on the output type. A VCM communicates over a Controller Area Network (CAN) using J1939 protocols. It is designed to be used in a wide variety of vehicle applications.

VCM 3520s are often used in control systems that monitor inputs and control outputs. The VCM 3520 is configured to meet vehicle requirements through different stuffing options and the modification of component values. It can monitor up to 22 digital inputs, ten analog inputs, and four frequency inputs—and can switch up to 20 dedicated outputs—16 high side and four low side/current sense type. It is an excellent candidate for hydraulic control systems.

This is a general module intended for all applications.

Software

• The VCM3520 is offered with a low level platform framework library and a documented development interface. This allows for applications to be developed readily.
• Vansco also offers application software that allows the VCM3520 to be used with Vansco’s multiplex systems.

  • Agriculture – harvester, tractor, combine, self-propelled sprayer, planter, seeder, windrower
  • On Highway – transit bus, motor coach, recreational vehicle (RV)/caravan, refuse/garbage truck, emergency vehicle (ambulance, fire truck), diesel truck/lorry
  • Construction – telehandler, loader, excavator/digger, forklift/lift truck, paver, bulldozer, compactor, backhoe
