The MG401 SmartLift ® load weighting device with digital transmitter has been developed for all kinds of lift load control. It is a universal device that can work with any kind of controller, even the ones that work with CAN.

It measures the actual car load with automatic compensation of the cables’ weight and it adds advanced features: Three output relays with maximum current protection and contact operation selection (Normally open or normally closed), bipolar analogical output to compensate the starting motor torque and HOLD input that is AC/DC compatible from 9 V to 150 V.

No configuration tools are required. When it is controlled by CAN network, the controller is the one that makes the device calibration. When it is not controlled with CAN network, the device display and keypad are used to calibrate it, following the adjustment steps that are clearly described.

The overload indication is shown on the MG402 display. It is connected with two wires.

When the lift is working normally, the load level is shown with a bicolour LED’s column that is drawn on scales marked with "kg". If the car has overload, the people display shows up intermittently in red and a buzzer sounds.

The Test function allows verifying the normal device function without the need to introduce the nominal load in the car. The activation of this function is done pressing the "test" pushbutton and it returns to the normal operation mode when the test has been finished.
