Comfort-Terminal complies with the Isobus standard ISO 11783. As a universal terminal it is manufacturer-independent and can be used with all machines that comply with the Isobus standard.
It provides all basic functions that are necessary to operate an Isobus machine and is equipped with an 640 pixel × 480 pixel TFT color display.
Additionally Comfort-Terminal provides precision farming functions like GPS-dependent task management, data exchange with the farm PC via a USB stick and parallel driving system.
Connections
Comfort-Terminal has tree connectors signed as A, B and C.
Connector A (CAN-ISO)
+Vin and -Vin serve the voltage supply. The signals marked with *) correspond to CiA 303-1 allocation. The signals CAN_L and CAN_H are connected internally and are for looping through the CAN network. When TBC_PWR_in is put on the voltage (= +Vin), the terminal can be switched on. When switched on, the terminal delivers the distribution voltage (-1,2 V) with a maximum 140 mA on TBC_PWR_out for the supply of the terminator networks.

The USB connector is USB 1.1-compatibel and can be found at the rear side of the terminal.
