ECU-Mini is prepared for the use on utility vehicles and machines. The communication with a virtual terminal like Basic-Terminal, Basic-Terminal TOP or Comfort-Terminal runs on the standardized CAN network (ISO 11783). With an optional 2nd CAN interface (J1939) it is possible to use it as a CAN bridge.
The gateway ECU is equipped with a 16-bit central prosessing unit (CPU).
Actuators and sensors are connected to a 42-pin connector via a cable loop, which consists of corrugated tubes. Diagnostic functions are available for all in- and outputs, which are protected against short circuits to ground or operating voltage. The gateway ECU supplies the power for the sensors at the 42-pin connector. All inputs for revolution sensors can be configured for sensors switching operating voltage or GND.
