CiA groups

CAN in Automation (CiA) is a nonprofit organisation made up of members from around the world. The  CiA General Assembly (GA) is the overarching organ and ultimate authority of the organization.

The CiA Business Committee establishes Marketing Groups (MG) for special topics and the CiA Technical Committee establishes Interest Groups (IG) with dedicated scopes. The MGs organize joint marketing activities. The IGs develop and maintain technical documents and may establish Special Interest Groups (SIG) and Task Forces (TF). Any CiA member may participate in any MG, IG, SIG, or TF meeting.

Anyone who registers for a CiA group or participates in a CiA group will automatically receive all relevant working documents for that group (meeting), by email. If you do not wish to receive these emails, you may opt out at any time by contacting secretary(at)can-cia.org.

Please note: In this case, it is your own responsibility to check for upcoming meeting dates and to retrieve all relevant working documents either from the CiA website or by contacting the CiA office directly.

Contributors are welcome

CiA members may participate in any technical group or comment any technical document. They just need to register at the CiA office. Also not-registered members may comment technical documents. Here you can find the CiA comment form.
