CiA technology days on CANopen Lift
CANopen Lift standardizes the communication between controllers and units used in elevators. It has been implemented by several device manufacturers. This includes suppliers of host controllers, car drive units, door units, floor and in-car panels as well as displays, positioning units, and several other sensors. In plugfests, CiA members implementing CiA 417 test the interoperability of their products.
This CiA technology days provide an insight to the status and future of CANopen in lift applications. The 4-hour events take place two times, at different starting times on October 06, 2020 start 08:30 am to 12:30 pm, Berlin time and October 09, 2020 start 03:00 pm to 07:00 pm, Berlin time. Thus, people from all over the world can participate at a suitable local time. The presentation language will be English. Participation is free of charge, but registration is obligatory to receive the dial-in data. CiA members have also the option to take part with technical-oriented presentations, to inform about experiences with CiA 417 solutions. More information and the proposed agenda can be found here.
