Reiner Zitzmann (41) has been appointed as CEO of CAN in Automation (CiA) GmbH.
He jointly manages with Holger Zeltwanger (64) the company for about one year. Than Zeltwanger will retire. Zitzmann works already since 2004 as Technical Manager in the commercial subsidiary of the nonprofit CiA association. He edits CANopen specifications, trains engineers in CAN technology, and represents the association in standardization bodies and on conferences. Since 2008, he manages the CiA seminars and CiA technical working groups.
