CiA exhibits at the iVT Expo in Chicago

This covers applications in agriculture, earth-moving, construction, forestry, lifting, mining, paving, and other machinery. The iVT Expo trade show takes place from August 19 to August 20, 2026. CiA is presenting the latest developments in CAN-based networking at the accompanying conference.

CiA presents "Evolving communication architectures for safe and secure mobile machines" at August 20, 2026, 9:20 a.m. at the accompanying conference in room 13.

In addition, CiA is also presenting at the iVT Live Zone, on August 20, 2026, 11:25 a.m.

CiA provides information about standardized integration networks such as ISO 11783 (also known as Isobus) for the agriculture industry, ISO 25200 for commercial vehicle body applications, and MiC 4.0 for earth-moving attachments. Additionally, CiA informs about standardized deeply embedded CANopen networks in fire-fighting and other rescue vehicles (ISO 26343/DIN 14700) as well as refuse-collecting vehicles (EN 16815/CiA 422 series).

CiA has also first-hand information about CAN FD and CAN XL lower layers and the related ecosystem. This includes latest news on CANopen Safety (EN 50325-5) and the CANsec (CiA 613-2) cybersecurity data plane for CAN XL. Of course, CiA provides information about CAN-related specifications and standards under development, giving an outlook to the future.
