CiA seminar in United States

This spring, CiA organizes a one-day event in in Cleveland (OH). The seminar is focused on CANopen.

For device and system designers interested in CANopen standardized in EN 50325-4 (equivalent to CiA 301), CiA has scheduled a one-day CANopen seminar in Cleveland. It will take place on May 10. The agenda covers introduction into the CANopen application layer and the requirements on the physical interface. The seminar also provides information about additional CANopen specifications for gateways, functional safety, and device as well as application profiles. A basic understanding on CAN is helpful, but not required. CANopen is an open communication technology used in embedded control networks. It is used in industrial automation, medical devices, commercial vehicles, and many other application fields.
