Nuremberg, Germany, 2026-03-03. The nonprofit CAN in Automation (CiA) international users’ and manufacturers’ group organizes the 19th international CAN Conference (iCC).
The event will take place on March 3rd and 4th, 2027. Location is Tutzing at Lake Starnberg (Germany), close to Munich. The conference covers all topics related to CAN (controller area network), internationally standardized in the ISO 11898 document series. This includes the three protocol generations: CAN CC (classic), CAN FD (flexible data rate), and CAN XL (extended data-field length). CAN-based higher-layer protocols are also on the conference agenda. This event gives experts the possibility to exchange knowledge and experiences. The iCC program committee chaired by Holger Zeltwanger, CiA Managing Director, calls for papers. Deadline is September 15, 2026. The 30-min presentations include questions and answers. As usual, a tabletop exhibition accompanies the conference.
