CAN 2020 webinars
In 2017, CiA organizes webinars that provide an overview about the current status as well as trends in CAN-based networking. These webinars are all about the future of CAN FD and CANopen FD.
The CAN 2020 webinars cover basic technical information on CAN FD, the impact of CAN FD on CAN-based higher-layer protocols (e.g. such as CANopen, J1939, etc.), latest trends in the physical layer design (e.g. partial networking, CAN FD, etc.) as well as system design aspects.
The CAN 2020 webinars are dedicated to decision makers, device designers, system designers as well as marketing persons. They are scheduled in a way so that interested people from America, Asia, and Europe are able to attend the webinar at a reasonable local time. One CAN 2020 webinar is structured to three sessions in logical succession.
- Duration: ca. 1,5 h per session including ca. 30 min discussion, question and answer.
- We may point out that the CAN 2020 webinar is not a seminar and therefore differs in pricing and content.
- The participation is free-of-charge.

In these webinars, a CiA-engineer gives you information on a certain CAN-related topic that you have chosen. The individual webinars are intended for developers, who already have a basic knowledge of CAN and who want to discuss concrete CAN-related issues that are arising in a current project.
